• Describe concepts and identify powerful tools used by data management professionals to better help them respond to the business needs
• Discuss the benefits of earning an IDMA certification; Identify a plan to start your certification program– path to the Associate Insurance Data Manager (AIDM) and Certified Insurance Data Manager (CIDM) certifications.

Note: This overview session is also designed to help prepare those who are interested in earning their AIDM or CIDM designation and those who want to learn about the data management profession without earning these certifications.  While completing this course will help certification candidates prepare for taking the IDMA 201 course exam (Introduction to Data Management Functions and Tools), supported by reading the associated course textbook, the course is an excellent introduction to the concepts of data management for any data professional.
