The Chicago Chapter
of IDMA meets twice a year. At these meetings,
there is typically a presentation and a discussion
of insurance data management issues.
At the Spring 2007 meeting, which was hosted
by CNA Insurance at their Headquarters in Chicago
on June 20, Anna Marie Smith of EWSolutions presented
an enterprise data governance and stewardship
overview.
The Fall 2007 meeting was hosted by the Independent
Statistical Service, Inc. (ISS) at their headquarters
in Des Plaines, IL (a Chicago suburb and close
to O'Hare Airport) on October 25. At this meeting
Larry Gehrke of CNA Insurance presented a follow
up discussion on data governance and stewardship
from the company side. This presentation complemented
Anna Marie Smith's Spring 2007 meeting presentation,
supplementing what the Spring attendees heard
and introduced the topic to Fall attendees who
may not have been at the earlier meeting. |
